Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
